It was all about red on a recent visit to Harcourt Arboretum in Oxfordshire - Japanese Maples were everywhere and literally glowed as the light streamed through them.

Had a wonderful time at the Big Chill festival this year (Eastnor Castle Deer Park, 4-6 August 2006). Colour everywhere you looked. Lots of dressing up. Lots of great music. Lots of fantastic food. ...are out in bloom everywhere. Each week in the Botanic Gardens in Oxford something new is out. This week it was all about Poppies - red, yellow, white, purple - any kind you can imagine. A couple of weeks before, it was all about Irises. The Botanic Gardens are such a beautiful place - I highly recommend a visit.

The latest in my line of Studio photos. Well, I say studio, but I mean it in the loosest sense of the word: a table and a few large pieces of white and coloured paper stuck on to the wall with masking tape to provide a backdrop! Great fun though :o)

May Day in Oxford was glorious, with the sun lighting up everything beautifully - suddenly it feels like summer! Everyone was out and about enjoying the weather and the river was busy with punters and rowers everywhere.

A trip to Jersey, Channel Islands to visit my family. This photo is of St. Ouen's beach - my absolute favourite - so much S P A C E - 5 miles of it in fact as the beach runs the entire length of the west coast of the island.

A trip to South West Wales ~ Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire ~ in March 2006. Beautiful scenery, although it was very, very cold and rather grey. We visited the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney, Tenby, Saundersfoot, Lllansteffan, Ferryside & Kidwelly Castle.
